Orbian releases its second Annual ESG & SCF Report

The interaction of ESG considerations in supply chains, and the role that SCF might play in aligning long term sustainability goals are matters of growing importance. Unfortunately they are also matters prone to particularly high levels of “fudge, obfuscation and fanciful thinking”.

In this, our second annual review of ESG and SCF, we seek to extend the work of our first, ground-breaking report. In particular, this report aims to provide a data-led analysis as free as possible from the “white noise” that continues to characterize much debate around these topics.

The first section of the report details the responses of over 500 of our clients to 12 key questions addressing their considerations on the interaction of ESG in their Supply Chain Finance initiatives. The second part of the report, outlines important broader market trends, challenges and recommendations for companies seeking to align their SCF and ESG initiatives.
