Orbian Privacy Policy

Orbian Corporation Limited, including each of its affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively, "Orbian") is committed to safeguarding information that it collects about people who access Orbian's general website ("Visitors") and users of the Orbian System (“Users”).

Orbian operates the Orbian website available at, the Orbian System and all other websites owned and operated by Orbian (collectively, the “Sites”) in compliance with applicable laws on data privacy protection and data security in the countries where Orbian does business.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Orbian collects from its Visitors and Users, how Orbian uses that information, who we share that information with, how we protect that information and how Visitors or Users can update that information or opt-out of its use.

Please be advised that the Sites are for commercial use only and Orbian does not offer services that are to be used for personal, family or household purposes. Orbian does not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from or about children under the age of 18, and Orbian does not knowingly market products or services to children under 18.


Information Collected from Visitors. Orbian only collects personal information from Visitors that is specifically and voluntarily provided by Visitors through the ‘Contact Us’ process and the process for the Visitor to obtain more detailed information about Orbian and its financial services. Visitors who wish to contact Orbian or request further information will be asked to provide first and last name, company name, job title, email address and phone number (collectively, “Contact Information”).

Use of Contact Information. Orbian uses the Visitor’s Contact Information to respond to the Visitor’s inquiry. Orbian may retain copies of any communications sent to or received from Visitors to Orbian's website for Orbian's business records.


Information Collected from Users. If an organization chooses to enroll to become a participant in a Supply Chain Finance Program supported on the Orbian System, the participant will be asked to provide Contact Information for individuals who will act as Users, as well as to provide detailed financial and business information about the participant organization or business which may in some circumstances include the name, date of birth and country of residence of 25% or more shareholder owners of private companies (collectively, “User Information”).

Use of User Information. Orbian uses the User Information in ways consistent with the reason for which it was provided to Orbian, and also internally to communicate with Users, to carry out actions User’s request on the Orbian System such as requests for support, to track the transactions that are performed via the Orbian System and to enforce Orbian’s Terms and Conditions of Use of the Orbian System. Any personal and company information provided as User Information will be used to comply with any applicable banking and governmental regulations.


Cookies. Similar to many other organizations, Orbian uses “cookies” to collect limited information about a Visitor to the Orbian website or a User of the Orbian System. A cookie is a file that identifies a person’s computer as a unique user. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies, however, you may be able to reset your browsers to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. If you choose to disable cookies, however, you may find areas of the Sites may not respond. Orbian uses "non-persistent" cookies to manage the online session of the Visitor or the User. "Non-persistent" cookies are held in the memory of the Visitor’s or User's PC and are not written to the hard disk of the computer. Once the you log out, the cookie is discarded. Orbian uses this information to help diagnose problems with Orbian's server, to track Visitor and User traffic patterns and to administer the Sites.

Sharing of Collected Information. Orbian may disclose information submitted by Visitors or Users to affiliate companies for the marketing and inquiry response purposes described above. Orbian's affiliated companies are required under this Privacy Policy to treat all Contact Information and User Information provided by Orbian as confidential. Orbian may share the information with third parties hired to provide services to Orbian related to its financial services.

Restrictions on Use of Collected Information. Orbian will not disclose, sell, rent, license, exchange or release any information about Visitors or Users (including but not limited to Contact Information, User Information or other enrollment or transaction information) to a third party except when Orbian has permission or under special circumstances, such as when Orbian believes in good faith that the law requires it or in special cases when Orbian has reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference (either intentionally or unintentionally) with Orbian rights or property, other Orbian Clients, or anyone else who could be harmed by such activities.

Additional Use of Collected Information. In addition to the uses identified above, Orbian uses information it collects to comply with any applicable regulation, law, court order, other judicial process or the requirements of a specific regulator or government, and as otherwise required or permitted by law. Orbian may also use collected Contact Information for future marketing mailings and to provide informational updates regarding Orbian’s products and services. Orbian provides only commercial transaction and financial services for businesses and does not use the data in connection with any consumer products or services.

Security. Orbian takes reasonable precautions to protect the information it collects from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction; however, Orbian cannot guarantee that all collected information will be absolutely safe from intrusion by others. Orbian does not use encryption tools in connection with Visitors to the general area of the Orbian website and cannot accept responsibility for the unauthorized access by a third party and/or the corruption of data sent by a Visitor to Orbian during transmission. Orbian restricts access to Contact Information and User Information to those Orbian employees who need to know the information to respond to an inquiry or request.
